The Study is our brand-new co-working space in the centre of Falmouth. Desks are available to be booked on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis – read on for more info.
The Study
Our dedicated work space. We have 8 desks, named after some of our favourite writers, available to rent on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
We’ve curated the space to be light, airy, and the perfect place to find focus.
Available to be booked Mon – Sat 9.30am – 5pm.
The Snug
This is our comfy multi-use space. Available to co-work users to rent on an ad-hoc hour-long basis, the perfect spot if you need somewhere for a private meeting. When not hired out for these private moments the space is a brilliant addition for all our co-workers to respectfully share the comfy seats and chilled vibes.
The Snug will always be vacant 12-2 Mon & Fri and 12-1 Tue, Wed & Thu for lunchtimes.
NB. There is a long standing room hire on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays and Thursdays so we can only guarantee that the space can be used during the lunch hour on these days. However there will sometimes be slots available on these days too, so please look for the sign.
Booking & pricing
Our bookings will be managed via our Pembee booking page where you can find details of prices and availability of each desk. If you’d like to rent a desk on a monthly basis please contact us directly at the bookshop as we will arrange that separately.
Daily – £12
Weekly – £55 – To be booked all at the same time, the website will then automatically apply a discount
Monthly – £200 – Please contact us about a monthly booking via email or the form at the bottom of the page
The Snug – £4 per hour. Currently only available for those booking a desk in The Study.
Facilities
Each hire comes with the use of a desk, chair, superfast fibre WiFi, access to The Snug when available*, free tea and coffee facilities, and 10% off at the café during the day. You’ll also get a free barista coffee upon check in to kick off your working day.
*The Snug can be booked for private use in 1 hour blocks, and will always be vacant 12-2 Mon & Fri and 12-1 Tue, Wed & Thu for lunchtimes. Terms & conditions
Fair Use policy
All users agree to abide by the fair usage of all facilities. Please ensure the spaces and other users are treated with respect. Whilst absolute silence isn’t expected we ask people to think of other users in the space and keep noise to a minimum in The Study.
Please see and abide by the signage outside of the Snug if it is being used for private sessions – the standing Tue, Wed and Thu hire is for private counselling sessions so respecting these bookings is incredibly important.
We also ask that all facilities used are left how they are found, ie clean and tidy, including desks, chairs, cups, sink etc.
We have provided the highest level of internet connectivity we can but please don’t abuse this by streaming movies, large (non-work related) downloads etc as it could affect everyone’s experience.
Cancellation policy
When a user wishes to cancel or amend a booking, they must notify us via email. We can only refund you if given 48 hours notice. Cancellations or amendments of an activity to an alternative day made after this period will be charged in full with no credit or refund applicable.
