We love books! But what do we love more than books? Surprise books!
Welcome to our Pick & Mix book subscriptions! Each month we choose titles we love to include in our book of the month subscription bundles, which also include a small card explaining why we’ve chosen it or a short review.
We wanted to make our subscription boxes as accessible as possible, so we’ve set up a way to let you mix and match from our selected categories to tailor each box. This listing is for non-fiction. If you would like to add more than just one title please see our other listings or get in touch directly.

If you are purchasing multiple books in one subscription for delivery, you only need to pay for postage once! Choose ‘collection’ for your secondary book option and we’ll make sure they get sent together.

Choose from a three, six, or twelve month subscription
Payment options
Pay upfront – purchase your chosen length of subscription in one upfront payment
Pay monthly – purchase your first month now, and we’ll send invoices over for any subsequent months. There will be a 50p additional service charge for monthly payments
Postage options
Collection from the shop – Free! We’ll email you when your book is ready to collect
UK postage – +£3.30 per month
FAQs
What will I be getting in each box?
Each month we will send you a book from each of the categories you’ve selected. We’ll parcel them up each with a note to explain why we’ve selected it and why we think you’ll love it!
When will I receive my books?
We post all of the books in the second week of each month. If you’ve opted for collection, we’ll send out an email to let you know when your books are ready.
What happens if I’ve already read the book?
All of our picks for each category will be new titles, so hopefully this won’t happen. However, we’re happy to offer our usual exchange policy. Just get in touch or pop into the shop and you’ll be able to exchange the book for something of a similar price.
Cancellation policy
We understand that sometimes cancellations are necessary, but ask that you let us know before the end of the month (i.e., please get in touch before 31st August if you wish to cancel from September). There will be a small cancellation fee to cover service costs.
